The Vision
FBC Forney had a vision for the people of Forney, TX to have a safe and flexible space that would not only be used for Sunday worship, but also as a community gathering space throughout the week. Their desire was to have a dual-purpose space that would function as both a worship space and a gymnasium.
Designing the Vision
With a dual-purpose space, some of the important aspects to be included in the design were flexibility while maintaining sight lines for every seat, IMAG, and a professional level audio system that would accommodate most concert riders.
Executing the Vision
The final product of this 2,000 seat room packs a punch with a d&b audiotechnik loudspeaker system, LED wall for a center screen, and the ability to section off the gym with large closing walls that allow smaller services to take place while the gymnasium is being used by others.
