The Vision
“Powerful” is the primary descriptor of the mission and vision of Raleigh First Assembly. In 2014 RFA leadership initiated a plan to move their congregation into an abandoned 58,000 sf industrial facility strategically located in the heart of their local mission field.
Designing the Vision
Extensive remodeling was required and CSD was called upon to provide audio, video, lighting and acoustics throughout. It was an ambitious project including distributed audio and digital signage, a Kids’ worship area, main worship area, and a video venue in the café for overflow seating. When CSD heard the vision we were excited to jump on board.
Executing the Vision
Central to the RFA vision is a weekly worship experience reflective of the faith, warmth and energy of their church community. A 1,700 seat worship center was envisioned requiring high quality technology, an immersive environment that moved worship beyond the stage into the congregation, and flexibility to keep pace with RFA’s constant movement. The result was a realization of vision for RFA as they fulfill their mission locally and globally.
